DOSES AND METHODS OF APPLICATION
The drug is used parenterally in the form of 7% (in terms of diminazen base) sterile solution. To prepare an injection of 7% solution, 12 ml of water for injection or saline are injected into the vials of 2.36 g each. Depending on the physiological state, symptomatic agents (heart, laxatives, vitamins, microelements) are given rest to sick animals. With prophylactic purposes, when one or several animals with signs of piroplasmosis are found in the herd, as well as after moving the animals to a locality unfavorable for blood parasitic diseases, neozidin is used once at a dose of 3.5 mg of diaminazene per 1 kg of animal mass, and if necessary, repeat the injection dose in 10-15 days.
